The second Rebbe of Slonim, R. Shmuel Weinberg, was the grandson of the first Rebbe, R. Avraham Weinberg (the "Yesod Ha'Avodah," 1804-83). He headed the Reisen Kollel in Eretz Israel and financially sustained the settlement in Tiberias which was largely composed of Slonim Chassidim.
