R. Pinchas Malovitsky, Admo”r of Lachowicze-Slonim, was the son-in-law of Grand-Rebbe Shmuel Weinberg of Slonim, the ‘Divrei Shmuel’. Lechovitch Chassidus, derived from Karlin, is a forebear of the well-known Slonim, Koidanov and Kobrin Chassidic courts. R. Alter Mordechai Sefarad, Admo”r of Ostrog (d. 1934) was the last Grand-Rebbe of Ostroha, a dynasty started four generations earlier by R. Ya’akov Yosef Sefarad, also known as Rav Yeivi. He was the brother-in-law of Grand-Rebbe Dovid Twersky of Skvira.
