Worn, upper portion of title clipped at margin, soiled toward end resulting in some loss of text on final two leaves. Contemporary boards. 4to. Vinograd, Berdichev 74.

The author (1740-1802) was one of the principle disciples of the Maggid of Mezhritch and R. Yissochar Ber of Zlotchov. Many of the great Chassidic leaders of the following generations were R. Tzvi Hirsch’s disciples including R. Menachem Mendel of Kosov, R. Tzvi Hirsch of Zidichoiv and R. Avrohom Dovid of Buchatch. The present work, beloved among his Chassidic followers, carries approbations from R. Yisroel b. Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev and R. Mordechai of Kremnitz.
