This work was highly valued by the Ar’i z’l. It is reported that the late Rebbe of Belz instructed that the Brith Menuchah be read to him on the night of Yom Kippur, particularly the narrative of the High Priest’s dramatic entry into the Holy of Holies on Yom Kippur.
