Principal of a day-school in Berosh, the Western Negev, R. Yehoshafat Alpert (1936-2019) was for many years the secretary of Reshet Oholei Yosef Yitzchok, a network of Chabad-Lubavitch educational institutions in Eretz Israel. In the present letter, the Rebbe encourages Alpert to prepare appropriate school programming for the upcoming ‘Chag HaGeulah’ of 12-13th of Tammuz, marking R. Yoseph Yitzchak Schneersohn’s release from Soviet captivity. The Rebbe responds to questions regarding school administration: “in cases of uncertainty [as to how to proceed] it is preferable not to alter the status quo.”
