Rabbi Greineman, an exceptional Lithuanian Torah scholar, edited and published works by his brother-in-law, the Chazon Ish. Rabbi Medalia (1916-77) was the chief rabbi of Leeds, Dublin, and Antwerp. His father was Rabbi Shmarya Yehuda Leib Medalia, chief rabbi of Moscow, shot by Soviet Communists in 1938.
