Rabbi Kopstein, the rabbi of Radun, was the secretary of the Chofetz Chaim’s Yeshiva. Rabbi Potash of Jaffa (d. 1946) was a confidante of the Chofetz Chaim. He had been the person the Chofetz Chaim turned to in order to procure immigration papers for him to Eretz Israel in 1925. (A trip that was never made).
