Names stem back to the late 18th-century and include merchants, innkeepers, farmers, physicians, lawyers, rabbis, and soldiers.
The newly married recipients of this elaborate album, Georg Gottheiner was born Berlin in 1880 and committed suicide there on November 11th, 1939. His wife Sophie Paula was born in Braunsberg in 1892 and deported from Munich on November 20th, 1941. She was sent to the Kaunas (Kovno) labor camp from where she was never heard from again.
