A history of Polaei Tzion, the Jewish Communist Party in Soviet Russia that existed from 1919-22. In the preface, the editors state that the purpose of this issue is to fill the void in historical writings on the party. It contains an article by Ber Borochov (1881-1917), founder of the Poalei Tzion movement of which the Russian party was a part, called “On the Poalei Tzion,” an abridged version of which had appeared in the Russian 1912 Jewish Encyclopedia.
