Rosenau (1865-1943) was a member of the anti-Zionist American Council for Judaism. Magnes (1877-1948) served as the first Chancellor of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem; in this pamphlet, he appears to support Cultural Zionism, though he was known to oppose the nationalist faction of the movement.
