Elijah Mizrachi’s map of the Holy Land first appeared in the Venice 1523 edition of his Bible commentary. Although primitively drawn, it correctly notes the borders of Eretz Israel and the places recorded in the Book of Deuteronomy. See E. & G. Wajntraub, Hebrew Maps of the Holy Land (1992) pp. 19-21.
