The judgments of five Beth Dins in Jerusalem agree to the appeal of the son of Binyan Menachem Moshe of Aden seeking to declare the will of his father to be null and void. The will (written in Aden, 1919) indicated that the bulk of his extensive estate should go to other relatives rather than the son. Apparently because of intercommunal controversies at this time, the appellant sought the opinions of all the Dayanim of Jerusalem. Including: Chief Rabbi Abraham Isaac Kook and his Beth Din, the Beth Din of the Aschkenazim headed by R. Yoseph Chaim Sonnenfeld, the Beth Din of the Aschkenazim headed by R. Tzvi Pesach Frank, the Aleppo (Halabim) Beth Din of Jerusalem headed by R. Yoseph Yedid Halevi and the Chassidic Beth Din headed by R. Abraham Tzvi Schor.
